Friday evening will be our warm up race. Then round 1 of finals will be Saturday followed by round 2 on Sunday.
DRESS CODE INFO:
At Finals we are allowing Friday night to be casual dress but please keep it clean and cute as we will have a photographer on site. Saturday is dress code unless you purchase a DBBRA 2019 Finals shirt. That is the only exception to dress code. You may also wear the DBBRA hat instead of a cowboy hat. There will be a $10 hat fine for any hat lost in the arena that one of our barrel setters has to run and pick up! Sunday there are no exceptions that will be a full dress code day. Cowboy hat and long sleeve collared shirt, jeans and boots.
Year End Points Awards:
Year end Awards will be handed out at the awards banquet and member social. Saturday from 6-9 pm in the Hilvers Hall across from the arena. We will do dinner, awards, then mingle. Dinner tickets are $20 each for a fresh cooked on site bbq plate with all the helpings. We would like you to be in dress code to collect your awards as these pictures will go to our sponsors.
We are guaranteeing Top 10 Year End Points awards for the Open Category.
At least Three Year end Points Champion Award for the Youth and Novice Divisions.
Average Awards At Finals:
We will also have 5-D Open Average awards for the weekend of Finals.
Average awards for Novice and Youth, 1st place threw 3rd Place in each at least. (We may go more than 3.)
There are no holding places in the RV parking. If you want to park together you need to arrive together.
There is a noise control on the facility and we are being asked to keep it respectful after 10 pm.
The facility charges us for daily hauls ins so if you are only coming for Friday Night you will still have to pay $15 fee for hauling in.
If you are staying the weekend, it is $30 for camping but it is DRY camping. There are NO hook ups of any kind. Generators are welcome and there are some showers on the grounds.
If you stay at a hotel and drop your trailer, you still have to pay the $30 fee for parking your trailer for the weekend.
The $30 pays for Friday threw Sunday.
Please keep all dogs on a leash and tied to your trailer or you. If this rule is abused we will not allow dogs to finals any more.
SUBSTITUTE I know that things happen and plans change in a year, sometimes out of our control.
Vet outs will require a notice from the vet and will recieve 80% of their entry fee back. The 20% will be retained for office fees. The vet outs will be accepted till October 11th at Noon after noon you are already in the draw and will be considered a scratch with no refunds.
We have 152 covered stalls.
Stalls will be pre assigned. So when you send in your entry Please let us know in a note that you would like to be stalled next to someone.
